NBC Wins Week 7 in Adults 18-49, Maintaining Its Best In-Season Average Since Super Bowl Week
NBC spins the numbers for the week of November 5-11.

[via press release from NBC]

NBC has won week 7 in adults 18-49, maintaining last week's season-high 3.1 rating, NBC's best in-season average since Super Bowl week.

Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 29 percent (with a 3.1 rating vs. a 2.4). The other Big 4 networks are all down versus the same week last year by double-digit percentages.

Season to date, NBC is now up 23 percent versus on year ago (3.2 vs. 2.6), the biggest increase for any network at this point in the season in three years (since Fox was up 23 percent in 2009) and biggest increase for NBC at this point in the season in the 25-year history of people meters.

NBC has moved from #4 in18-49 at this point last year to #1 this year

NBC has now won six of the season's first seven weeks in 18-49, finishing #2 only during the week Fox carried four World Series games. It's the first time in 10 years NBC has won six of the opening seven weeks.

NBC is #1 season to date in 18-49 for the first time at this point of the season in nine years.

For the season, NBC now has a 14% lead over second place (3.2 vs. 2.8 for CBS), the second-biggest margin for any network in 11 years (since 2001, NBC vs. Fox, +19%), behind only +16% for Fox in 2009.

NBC's 3.2 is its highest average at this point in the season in five years (since 2007).
